Quince Vocal Ensemble Residency and Concert at the Cleveland Institute

Nicknamed the “anonymous 4 of contemporary music,” Quince is a vocal ensemble specializing in the music of our time. They are four female vocalists relentlessly pushing boundaries of style and sound. This performance will feature Courtney Bryan's Requiem (2019), originally written for and premiered by the ensemble. Admission is free, but a reservation is required.

Members of acclaimed Chicago-based Ensemble Dal Niente—Connie Volk, flute, and Katie Jimoh, clarinet—join faculty soprano Carrie Shaw in performing works for voice and winds by Volk, Luis Naòn, Jérôme Combier, and a newly commissioned work by Sky Macklay.  Shaw is joined by soprano Danielle Reutter-Harrah in performing duets for voice by Farzia Fallah.
